- Prevalence increases with metabolic syndrome.
- Progression decreases with Metformin and intensive lifestyle changes in the presence of metabolic syndrome.
- Progression increases with the thiazide diuretics and beta blockers.
- Program reviewed insulin resistance in metabolic syndrome.
